Do you send the paid letters or deletion letters to the credit bureaus?

Not usually.

 

Because we are dealing with the data furnisher (debt collector / creditor) they will update the credit bureaus as to the resolution of the account. Most data furnishers report weekly to monthly the updates through a program called E-Oscar. We usually ask for the AUD # and Universal Data Form (UDF) to verify that they have updated an account correctly to the credit bureaus.

 

It can take 30 - 45 days after payment for the credit monitoring and credit bureaus to reflect the updated status of your account.
