It is frustrating to know that the creditor has agreed to delete the account from your credit report but you still see it on there. We want to make this process as fast and rewarding as possible.

Once a creditor has agreed to delete (remove from your credit report) their item from your credit report, they will submit a request for the deletion to the credit bureaus. Most creditors report and update to the credit bureaus daily, weekly, or monthly. We will be able to let you know when your creditor reports to the credit bureaus. Usually we notice that the item is removed from your credit report in 3-5 days from when the creditor submits the update to the credit bureaus.

If you are buying a home, your mortgage lender maybe able to do a rapid rescore. A rapid rescore is where you give your lender the deletion letter and proof of payment (we supply this to you) and the company that they pull credit from will confirm that the creditor is deleting the account. They can remove the creditor's item in 3-5 business days. There may be a fee to your loan officer for this service.

If you are pressed for time, please let us know by submitting a ticket request and we will do what we can to speed this process up for you.
